Barbara L. "Barb" Hickman, 59, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 17, 2013 surrounded by her family.

She was born on February 3, 1954, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Franklin J. and Violet L. (Dull) Shoemaker. In 1970, she married Ronnie A. Hickman and he preceded her in death in 1995.

Survivors include 2 sons, Ron (Jennifer) Hickman and Jamey Hickman, both of Tiffin; 2 daughters, Kelly (Jim) Laugherty and Rhonda (Dean) Miller, both of Tiffin; 3 brothers, Harry F. (Becky) Shoemaker of Arlington, TX, Richard A. (Deb) Shoemaker of South Jordan, UT and Paul E. (Bridgette) Shoemaker of Tiffin; 2 sisters, Sharon C. Richey and Tracy L. Shoemaker, both of Tiffin; 9 Grandchildren, Alissa, Andrea, Angie, Cliff, Seth, Bailey, Wesley, Emma and Nathan; 3 great grandchildren, Madison, R.J. and Lucas; and her beagle, Leroy.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and special friend, Magoo Ritchie.

Barb graduated in 1972 from Tiffin Columbian High School and was a manager at Speedway and Circle K for over 30 years. She enjoyed the Cleveland Browns, country music; especially following local bands and going to the Tiffin Moose. Barb also enjoyed family picnics and watching her grandchildren's football and baseball games.

Her funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Paul Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, the Humane Society of Seneca County or to a charity of the donor's choice.
