Barbara J. Roberts, 74, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital.

She was born on July 7, 1947, in Tiffin, Ohio to Louis F., Sr. and Beulah C. (Lee) Mathias.  On January 21, 1967, she married James B. Roberts and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2019.

Survivors include her two sons, Mark (Barb) Roberts of Tiffin and Scott (Jamie) Roberts of Perrysburg; four brothers, Louis, Jr., (Judith) Mathias of KY, Joseph Mathias, Robert (Lois) Mathias and John (Jill) Mathias, all of Tiffin; two sisters, Donna Pryor and Carol (Dennis) Scherger, both of Tiffin; and eight grandchildren, Bernie Somers, Caitlin Somers, Christine Roberts, Emily Roberts, Scotty (Maggie) Haver, Carli Roberts, Cayla Roberts and Coraline Roberts; and one great grandchild, Gianna Haver.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard Mathias, stepbrother, Richard Hartzell; and stepsister, Judy Bish.

Barbara was a 1965 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and was Vice President at Commercial National Bank for 25 years and then worked at Tiffin Foundry for the past 31 years.  She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren were her life.

Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Tony Scott officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
