Barbara Jean Norris, 90, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on July 24, 1935, in Marks Center, Ohio, to Steven and Kathleen (Kroneker) Szabo and was the last of 13 children. On November 07, 1953, she married Ivron Norris and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2015.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Norris and Gary Norris, both of Tiffin, Stanley (Cheryl) Norris of St. Paris; daughters, Beverly (Mike) Forte of Port St. Lucie, FL and Brenda (Matthew) Riesen of Van Buren; and five grandchildren: Sarah (Jonathon) Gohmann, Bethany Norris, Seth Norris, Madalyn Riesen and Aedan Riesen.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; five brothers and seven sisters.

Barbara was a member of Bascom Union United Church of Christ. She was an OSU Buckeye fan, enjoyed flowers and birds and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Barbara was the best mom and grandma and was loved by everyone.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 P.M. and her funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236

Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
