Barbara Ann Stiverson, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, December 12, 2014 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.


On October 8, 1941 in Tiffin, she was born to Robert and Geraldine (Renninger) Stiverson and they preceded her in death.


Survivors include a daughter, Linda Nihiser of Republic; sisters, Fay (Bob) Acree of Bascom; Mary (Butch) Wright of Fostoria; Delores "Dory" (Bill) Reinhart of Alvada; Ruthie Stiverson of Bascom; Shirley (Gene) Sleek of Gibsonburg; Marty Challen of Arizona; Roberta (Bob) O'Connor of Tiffin; brothers, Mike Stiverson of Buckeye Lake; Bob (Pat) Stiverson of Tiffin; John (Cindy) Stiverson of Zainsville; Larry (Phyllis) Deitrick of Maumee; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her best four legged friend, Zander.


She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Oletha Stiverson, sisters, Rose Smith and a grandchild.


Barbara was a licensed pilot for years and will be remembered by friends and family for her paintings and her love for animals, especially her dogs.


A Memorial service will be Wednesday, December 17 at 7:00 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tress Hodkinson officiating. Burial will be later in Greenlawn Cemetery.


Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 5:00 until the time of service.
