Barbara A. "Barbara" Walter, 63, of McCutchenville, went to be with the Lord at 3:45 A.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 following a brief illness.

She was born on February 27, 1950 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital to William and Phyllis (Hassinger) Cascaden.

She is survived by her mother, Phyllis of Findlay; 2 daughters, Heather (Mike) Peters of Findlay and Megan (Jason) Neeld of Carey; and 2 grandchildren, Chase and Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her father, William; brother, Billy Cascaden in 1961; son, William Walter; and granddaughter, Jocelyn Neeld.

Barb graduated in 1968 from Tiffin Columbian High School and retired after 28 years from Tiffin Developmental Center. She enjoyed retirement by spending time with her family and friends and most importantly, her grandchildren. Barb was a hockey and a Greenbay Packers fan and enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling to the Amish Country with her family.

Her memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Chaplain Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral Home.
