Barbara K. Ward, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on November 08, 1940, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Ray C. and Mina C. (Bridinger) Wise.  On October 01, 1961, she married Bruce F.  Ward and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1995.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Truran of Berkley, MI and Coleen (Gabriel) Restrepo of Ferndale, MI; six grandchildren, Kelsey (Matthew) Straight, Kyle (Kate) Trivett, Alex Truran, Emily Trivett, Dylan Restrepo and Korey Restrepo; five great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Nancy Hughes of McComb and Patricia Rutter of Sylvania; and her dog, Sasha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce F. Ward; and her boyfriend and former classmate who she reconnected with at their 50th class reunion, Don Weber.

Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.  After high school, she moved and lived in Michigan for over 40 years, then moved to Arizona, Nevada and Alaska.  In October of 2023, Barbara moved back to Tiffin to return to her hometown.  She was a member of the Allen Eiry Senior Center where she enjoyed going on bus trips and to their classes.  Barbara enjoyed getting together with former classmates, going to class reunions, antiquing, shopping, gardening, attending the downtown events and shops and traveling to watch her grandchildren in their sporting events.  Most of all, Barbara loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service in Greenlawn Cemetery on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:30 AM with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating.  A luncheon will follow at The Reino's Party Room.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen Eiry Senior Center or to the Seneca County Humane Society.
