Beatrice M. "Beatie" Wank, 85, of Fostoria and previously of New Riegel, passed away on Monday morning, March 30, 2015 at Independence House, Fostoria.

She was born on March 1, 1930, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Nicholas and May (Burkert) Frankart. On May 7, 1955 in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, she married Joseph C. Wank and he preceded her in death on December 1, 2005.

Survivors include her 12 children, Patricia (Paul) Hohman of Tiffin; Debra (Dwight) Brickner of Fostoria; James Wank of Cleveland; Marlene (Carl) Hohman of Tiffin; Darlene (Bill) Wertz of New Riegel; Carol Wank of Carey; Robert (Diane) Wank and Michael (Becky) Wank, both of New Riegel; John (Shelley) Wank, of Tiffin; Richard Wank of New Riegel; Joseph (Lisa) Wank of Woodville; Barbara (Geoff) Lescallett, of New Riegel; 18 grandsons, 18 granddaughters; and 14 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers, Earl, Irvin, twins, Clair and Carl, Alvin "Jake" and Eddie; and 3 sisters, her twin, Bernice "Bernie" Frankart, Blanche Frankart and Mary Louise "Tootie" Frankart.

Beatie was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel and the Rosary Altar Society. She enjoyed listening to polka music, playing cards, baking pies and sweets. Beatie was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
