Beatrice E. Deppen, 90, of Tiffin passed away Monday afternoon, October 17, 2011 at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

On August 11, 1921, she was born in Tiffin, OH to Harvey & Pearl (Craver) Deppen.

Survivors include sister, Marjorie Granata; nieces, Marilyn Lewinski of Michigan, Nancy (Paul E.) Steinmetz, Julie (Daryl) Shellhouse and Jean Hays all of Tiffin, and Jennifer (Rod) Althaus of Port Clinton; nephews, Steve (Inga) Leahy of Columbus, Mark (Janet) Leahy of Tiffin and Tim (Uhli) Granata of Zurich, Switzerland; and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Geraldine Walters and Pauline Leahy.

Beatrice graduated from Sycamore High School in 1939 and was a cook at Tiffin Developmental Center for twenty four years. She lived in Florida for a few years and led a very simple life.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 20, 2011, following visitation, at Seneca Memory Garden Cemetery, Tiffin with Rev. James Kent officiating.
