Bernice V. 'Bea' Breidenbach, 76, of Tiffin, died Tuesday afternoon, March 4, 2008, at her home. On September 18, 1931, she was born in Carey to John and Lenora (Ruffing) Kessler. On June 23, 1951, she married Francis M. Breidenbach in Carey.
Survivors include three sons, John M. (Inis) Breidenbach, Ronald D. Breidenbach, and Jeffrey C. Breidenbach, a daughter, Mary (Dave) Watson, all of Tiffin, a brother, Robert (Ruth) Kessler of Carey, two sisters, Rita Nye and Mary Risner, both of Tiffin, a sister-in-law, Romaine Kessler of Carey, two grandchildren, Jared (Becca) Watson of Republic and Jennifer Watson of Youngstown and a great-granddaughter, Lily Watson.
Preceding her in death along with her parents and her husband, Francis in 2006, are a son, Daniel F. Breidenbach in 1970, a grandson, Nicholas Watson in 2000, three brothers, Raymond, Bernard, and Charles Kessler, and two sisters, Margaret Goshe and Estella Draper.
Bea was a homemaker, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Red Hat Society, VFW Post 2858 Auxiliary, and a former member of St. Mary Rosary Altar Society and St. Francis Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards and gardening.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, March 7, 2008, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424.
