Beth Karolyn (Borer) Moon, 69, of Belmont, NC, and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, December 16, 2014 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

She was born on September 27, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, to John Burton and Pauline Esther (Lay) Borer. On May 1, 1971, she married Keith Alan Moon.

Survivors include her husband, Keith; son, Jordan (Cara) Moon of Arlington, VA; 5 daughters, Alison (Steve) Nichols of Monroe, NC, Abby (Adam) Ingols of Alexandria, VA, Lindsay (Kyle) Findley of The Woodlands, TX, Gwen (Chris) Spitzhoff of Arlington, VA and Whitney Moon of Columbia, SC; 2 brothers, Frank W. "Bill" (Becky) Borer of Zeeland, MI and Brad R. (Jane) Borer of Tiffin; sister, Barbara Williams of Doylestown, PA; brother-in-law, Kevin (Kathy Borneman) Moon; and seven grandchildren: Andrew, Adam and Libby Nichols; Mary Caroline and Cate Ingols; Claire Findley and Eleanor Moon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Beth graduated in 1963 from Tiffin Calvert High School and early on she traveled through Europe. She graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in Toledo and worked as a Registered Nurse in Ann Arbor and Columbus.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass on Saturday at the church.
