Betty L. Brubaker, 75, of Tiffin, died Sunday evening, February 3, 2008, at her home. On January 5, 1933, she was born in Tiffin, to the late Charles and Dorothy (Drown) Beck. On January 5, 1952, she married LaVernon 'Curly' Brubaker in Trinity United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Curly, a son, Steve (Jeri) Brubaker of Port St. Lucie, FL, a daughter, Cindy (Doug) Spoon of McCutchenville, two sisters, Jean Fox of Englewood, FL, Joan (Roy) Hossler of Sycamore, 6 grandchildren, Rachel Biehler, Lyndsay Herrington, Jami Gunn, Eric Spoon, Cory Spoon and Jamie Spoon, as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
Betty was a member of Church of the Brethren in Fostoria, and later at Christ's Church at Tiffin. She was a kind, generous person who always had a smile on her face. She adored her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed traveling to Alaska.
Private family visitation and entombment at Seneca Memory Garden has taken place.
Memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice Care or Comfort Keepers.
