Betty J. Bridinger, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, July 14, 2014 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

On August 21, 1930 in Tiffin, she was born to Albert and Eugenia (Warnement) Raitz. She married Robert G. Bridinger on January 22, 1954 in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jean (Jeff) Naugle of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Ashley, Daniel, Bradley, and Gena and her Jack Russell Terrier, Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert in 2002 and an infant grandson, Christopher Naugle.

Betty was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a 1948 graduate of Tiffin Calvert and a member of the St. Francis Auxiliary. For many years, she worked for Mr. Wiggs and Heck's Department Stores and enjoyed traveling and cruising, especially to Hawaii and the Caribbean Islands. Betty also enjoyed playing Euchre, Pinochle and going out to eat with her friends and retirees from the store. But most of all, she loved taking care of her family and her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.

Friends may visit and share stories on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 11:00 until the time of Mass at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Francis Auxiliary or the Seneca County Humane Society.
