Betty R. Bush, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, July 27, 2011 at Ottawa Co. Riverview Nursing Home, Oak Harbor, OH.

On March 8, 1927, she was born in Detroit, MI to Eli & Emma (Sexton) Lambert. She married Royal E. Bush on November 24, 1943 and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2009.

Survivors include two sons; Daniel R. (Jane) Bush and David E. (Colleen) Bush, both of Tiffin, OH; one daughter, Melanie R. (Denis) Reinhart of Tiffin, OH; one brother, William (Carol) Lambert of MI; two sisters, Thelma Bush of MI and Maxine (Paul) Hasselbach of MI; six grandchildren, Dan (Billie Jo) Bush, Jr., Eric Bush, Angela Bush, Ryan Bush and Brandon and Shelby Reinhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Junior, Clifford and Jesse Lambert, and sisters; Ruby Lambert, Sarah Barnes and Mary Coffee.

Betty was a graduate of Melvindale High School and was a charter member of The Lincoln Park Garden Club in Michigan. She was also a member of the Y-Wives in Tiffin. Betty enjoyed gardening, yard work and her John Deere mower. She also enjoyed playing cards; especially pinochle and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her funeral service will be at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419)447-2424, on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain, Dave Gowan officiating. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Garden Mausoleum.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
