Obituary

Betty Jean Krupp, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 11, 2015 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on October 2, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Pete and Zelma (Dumond) Lofay. On August 11, 1951, in St. Mary Catholic Church, she married Raymond J. "Ray" Krupp and he survives in Tiffin.

Also surviving are 2 sons, Raymond M. (Lorie) Krupp and Dennis Krupp, both of Tiffin; 4 daughters, Karen (Harland) Greene of Clarkston, MI and Sharon Thom, Susan Krupp and Jane Krupp, all of Tiffin; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Richard Lofay and Pete Lofay, Jr.; and an infant sister, Catherine.

Betty graduated in 1950 from Tiffin Columbian High School, was a glasscutter at U.S. Glass and was the manager of the kitchen at Gay Lanes for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Mother's of Twin's Club and enjoyed bowling, fishing, reading and vacationing in Florida. Betty was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She also enjoyed playing golf, where she was a member of the Tuesday Morning
Lady's League at Seneca Hills. She was proud of her Hole in One on Hole #2 back in 1970.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.
Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-4:00 P.M and 6-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Memorial contributions may be made Calvert Catholic Schools, Seneca County School of Opportunity or to St. Mary Catholic Church.
