Betty M. Rowlett, 76, of Tiffin, died Sunday afternoon, August 17, 2008, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

On January 25, 1932, she was born in West Virginia to Francis Allen and Mary Jane (Collins) Yocum. She married James W. Rowlett and they later divorced.

Survivors include a son, James (Marty) Rowlett of New Lexington, a daughter, Mary Haynes of Tiffin, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews, and her dog, Gizmo.

Preceding her in death along with her parents is a brother, David F. Yocum and a sister, Dorothy M. McGee Wyatt.

Betty worked domestic laundry, was a bartender at Three Oaks and attended God's Lighthouse.

A Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Uttley officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
