Billy "Bill" Nelson Holbrook, Sr., 70, of Republic, passed away Tuesday evening, November 6, 2012 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

He was born on October 23, 1942, in Whitesburg, KY, to Robinson Nelson and Velta (Neice) Holbrook. On July 23, 1992, he married Lois A. Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; 4 sons, Billy Nelson (Karen) Holbrook, Jr. of Covington, OH, Richie Dean (Sandra) Holbrook of Circleville, OH, Glenn E. (Kerry) Feindel of White Pine, TN and Brandon E. Holbrook of Washington, DC; 1 daughter, Kimberly Norell (Michael Lee) Potter of Jackhorn, KY; 3 brothers, Virgil (Ruth Ann) Holbrook of Tiffin, OH, Fred (Wilma) Hart of Morehead, KY and Steve (Darlene) Hart of Seymour, IN; 2 sisters, Barb (Mark) Milroy and Mattie Weible, both of Tiffin, OH; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Sherry Lynn Holbrook and Shelly Cleveland.

Bill retired in 2003 from Fostoria Industries, after 20 years. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, fishing, watching movies and he had many friends.

His funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. Paul Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 6-8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the funeral home.
