Bonaventura H. "Bonnie" Gatton, 71, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, December 27, 2013 at her home.


She was born on December 19, 1942, in Tiffin, OH, to Raymond and Grace (Bangert) Schreiner. On April 27, 1963, she married Paul F. Gatton Jr. and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2011.


Survivors include her daughter, Debra Gatton of Tiffin; sister, Theresa Curtis of Gladwind, MI.


Also preceding her in death were her parents; brother, James Schreiner; 2 sisters, Marylin Welker, Rita Lucas.


Bonnie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a graduate of Calvert High School. She was a stay at home mom who loved raising her only child, baking, cooking, taking care of the home and reading.


Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.


Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.
