Candace Jean "Candy" Beard, 68, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at her home.

She was born on June 4, 1951, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Clifton D. and Geraldine B. (Hall) Beard.

Survivors include her son, Jeff (Michelle) Beard of Pickerington; brothers, Dick (Sheila) beard of Melmore and Roger (LouAnn) Beard of Bowling Green; sister, Linda (Bill) Musson of Pemberville; and three grandchildren, Keagan and twins, Elijah and Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Candy grew up in Melmore and graduated in 1969 from Mohawk High School.  She worked as a secretary for local insurance agencies and retired in 2012 from Tiffin Ford.  She enjoyed helping out at the Community Civic Center, watching sports and was a Detroit Tigers and an OSU fan.  Candy loved supporting her son in his sports career, he was her life.

Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Clayton Bailey officiating.  Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery

Friends may visit with the family from 4-7:00 P.M. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the funeral home.
