Carl R. "Salty" Jordan, Jr., 68, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, September 27, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on May 7, 1945, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Carl R. and Lillian K. (Rex) Jordan, Sr. On July 5, 1967, he married Amie A. Spradlin and she survives.

Also surviving are his two sons, Carl R. (Rita Reis) Jordan, III and Casey (Tina) Jordan, both of Tiffin; daughter, Kolenia A. (Mervin) Tyree, of Tiffin; brother, Walter H. (Kenna) Jordan, of Fredericktown, Ohio; sister, Leslie (Ronald) Leonard of Tiffin; 4 grandchildren, Eric and Becky Jordan, Helena Sigler, and Kaleb Tyree; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Carol Losey.

Carl was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed trains, playing guitar and collecting guns.

A gathering of family and friends will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Bible Baptist Church, 130 Brace Ave., Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care.
