Carol J. Hohman, 81, of Carey, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Promedica Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania.

She was born on August 1, 1940, in St. Bernard, New Washington to the late Sylvester and Helen (Kenney) Bishop. In April of 1962 she married Eugene Hohman at St. Bernard Catholic Church, New Washington, he passed away before her in 1988.

She is survived by her 5 children; Michael (Judy) Hohman of New Riegel, Edward (Carol) Hohman of Carey, Kathy Hohman of Bucyrus, Sandra Frisch of Tiffin, and Roger Hohman of Carey; brother, Gary (Pat) Bishop of Bucyrus; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Hohman; and sister, Beatrice Bishop.

Carol was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel and was a graduate of New Washington High School. She really enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking and baking. Some of her favorite things to make included homemade pizza and candies.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 until the time of the service at the church.
