Carol M. Bowers, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, April 25, 2010 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

On August 19, 1926 in Tiffin, she was born to Warren C. and Lelia Lolita (Biehler) Bishop. She married Wade Bowers on April 18, 1948.

Survivors include her two sons, Randy M. Bowers and Scott A. (Annalisa) Bowers both of Tiffin; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 56 years, Wade and a sister, Betty.

Carol was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and a 1944 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing Bridge, her cats, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating.

There will be no visitation.
