Carol S. Piatt, 86, of Greenwood, Arkansas and formerly of Findlay, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 25, 2025 at Pink Bud Nursing Home, Arkansas.

She was born on December 06, 1938, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Clarence and Caroline L. (Stevenson) Kuebler.  On December 26, 1959, she married Jerry E. Piatt and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2012.

Survivors include her son, Kevin Piatt of Rome, NY; daughter, Karen (Adam) Gold of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and two grandchildren, Amanda Gold and Joshua Gold.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Kelbley; and brother-in-law, Jack Kelbley.

Carol was born with a servants heart and soul, exemplifying the true meaning of living a good Christian life.  She was such a bright Light to those around her, always putting others needs above her own.  A wonderful mother/grandmother and devoted wife, everyone who knew Carol loved her.  Carol will be deeply missed but so deserving to hear those words…."well done, good and faithful servant".   Matthew 24:23

Carol graduated in 1956 from Calvert High School and in 1959 from Mercy School of Nursing.  She started her career off at the Tiffin State Hospital for 2 years and at Ben Franklin in Findlay for 15 years. Carol lived throughout the country, in Southern Ohio, Chicago, Dallas, New Jersey, San Antonio and moved back to Findlay after retirement.  Carol was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, scrapbooking and doing puzzles.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 06, 2025 at St. Francis Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Family may visit from 12:00 Noon until the time of the Mass on Thursday at St. Francis Home Chapel.
