Carol E. Reinhart (nee Rinebold), 90, of Tiffin, passed away April 9, 2026 in Seneca County.

She was born August 23, 1935 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Carl V. and Violet E (Stephens) Rinebold. She married Ronald F. Reinhart on June 14, 1958 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Alvada, Ohio. She is survived by two sons; Gregory A (Becky) of South Lebanon and Bryan J (Tawnya) of Tiffin; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Colleen, Ellen, William, Katey and Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, and her son, Scott Reinhart.

Carol was a 1953 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. She maintained an extensive network of close friends across all generations, and many regarded her as a second mother, as she was always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand to those in need. She was an avid fan of playing cards and board games, and was very active in her church, Christ Church at Tiffin, and numerous social clubs. She especially enjoyed being a member of multiple bridge clubs, antique clubs, the Penthouse Club and the Allen Eiry Senior Center. Carol had a passion for travel and created many cherished memories both at home and abroad. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, she will be remembered for her joyful laugh. Though she was not fond of cooking, she was always happy to gather with friends and family to enjoy meals at her favorite local restaurants.

On Monday April 13, 2026, the family will receive visitors from 4-6:00 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Christ Church at Tiffin, 2586 US-224, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Pastor Andy Timm officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
