Carol J. Wyss, 70, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on March 1, 1949, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Carl and Florence (Scholidon) Thom.  On August 1, 1970, she married Dennis Wyss, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis of Tiffin; son, Dennis (Beth) Wyss, Jr. of Toledo; brother, Carl (Linda) Thom, Jr. of Tiffin; and granddaughter, Susan Wyss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Norman, Donald, Kenneth and Wallace Thom; and sister, Janet Guzman.

Carol graduated from Tiffin Calvert in 1967, worked at Kmart for several years and Wal-Mart for 15 years.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, DAV, Tiffin Moose #846 and enjoyed crocheting, reading, Bingo, watching the cooking channel, HGTV and Yes to the Dress.  Carol loved spending time with her family and was devoted to her granddaughter.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
