Carol C. Woodward, 55, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, July 1, 2011 at her sister's home.

On August 5, 1955 in Tiffin, she was born to Edward J. and Pauline (Eberly) Boehler.

Survivors include her son, Dustin B. Woodward of Ada; brothers, Michael (Deb) Boehler, John Boehler, Timothy (Vicky) Boehler all of Tiffin; sisters, Dianne (James) White of Clinton, TN; Mary (Stephen) Roessner, Rosalie (Jerrold) O'Neil, Teresa (Herb) Faber, Charlotte (Kevin) Pritts all of Tiffin and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1998, mother in 2004, son; Anthony B. "Buddy" Woodward in 1999, sister; Barbara Schindler in 2008.

Carol was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a 1973 graduate of Tiffin Calvert. She worked as a Support Operator at Toledo Mold and Die for over 35 years. She was a gifted artist; painting murals, lettering a fire truck for Arcadia Volunteer Fire Dept., woodcarving, and was known for her talent for decorating her home. Carol enjoyed horses, dogs and the time she spent with her family. She will be remembered for her annual Luau party.

A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. A wake service will begin at 12:30 pm on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
