Carolyn L. Cochran, 92, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Ruffing Care Center, Tiffin.

She was born November 16, 1923, in Sycamore, Ohio to Everett and Glenna (Rapp) Walker. On June 18, 1944, she married Turney R. Cochran at Harmony United Brethren Church and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Kay (Robert) Hall of Seville, Ohio and Kathy Jo (Roderick) Phillips of Tiffin, Ohio; four grandchildren, Michael Mitten of Matthews, North Carolina, Jeffrey (Alysia) Mitten of Sarasota, Florida, Carly (Jeff) Seery of Tiffin, Ohio and Maggie Kurth of Houston, Texas; and four great grandchildren, Alexander and Turner Mitten of Sarasota, Florida and Delaney and Hadley Kurth of Houston, Texas.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Claude Walker; and sister, Lucille Honsberger.

Carolyn was a member of the Sycamore Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school classes for many years. She was also a graduate of Eden Township School, Melmore, Ohio, where she prided herself on her perfect attendance record for her entire school career. Carolyn also worked for many years as a food service manager for Betty Jane Center, JJ Newberry and Big N.

There will be no formal service held at this time. A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
