Carolyn Daughenbaugh-Weisenauer, 64, of Little Mexico, Ohio, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 12, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born on September 10, 1951 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Ora Calvin "Cal" and Vivian L. (Kneirim) Aurand. She married Larry Daughenbaugh and they later divorced. On June 18, 2010, she married Robert Weisenauer.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Little Mexico; four daughters, Tammy (Rob) Abbott of Nevada, Tonya Daughenbaugh of Bloomville, Addie Daughenbaugh of Nevada and Angela (Caleb) Rice of Tiffin; stepson, Aaron Paul (Jessica) Weisenauer of Fremont; two step daughters, Kelly Ann Hufford of Sycamore and Melissa Jane (Matt) Siebenaller of Bascom; brother, Kenneth (Edwinna) Aurand, Sr. of Bucyrus; 20 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carolyn graduated in 1969 from Republic High School and was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God. She started her career, of over 20 years, in medical billing at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin and then was transferred to Toledo and she also was an event planner at the Ritz Theatre for over 25 years. Carolyn loved her work, enjoyed volunteering in the nursery at Church or wherever else was needed and also enjoyed baking candy, crocheting and riding with her husband, Robert, on their Harley. Family was very important to Carolyn and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at New Beginnings Assembly of God with Rev. Rex King officiating. Burial at Seneca Memory Gardens will be at a later date.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Friday at New Beginnings Assembly of God.
Memorial contributions may be made to the No One Fights Alone Foundation.
