Carolyn S. Hepler, 67, of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Lehigh Regional Medical Center.

On November 30, 1943, in Dayton, she was born to Harold and Ruth. She married Keith Hepler on March 13, 1965.


Survivors include her husband of 46 years Keith, daughter, Sherri and granddaughter, Katharine both of Lehigh Acres, FL; a very special sister Linda, sisters Barbara and Judith and a brother Gerald.


She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.


Carolyn graduated from Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1966 and has served as President for the Alumni Association. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church Lehigh Acres. Carolyn and Keith moved to Florida in 1978. She was a Registered Nurse dedicated to the care of newborns. She was a charter member of NAACOG (Nurses' Association of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) and served as State Chairman for the State of Ohio


Graveside services will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Jacob's Cemetery in Republic with Rev. David Culp officiating.


In lieu of flowers, in honor of a life serving children, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of SW Florida; 9981 Healthpark Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908.
