Charles E. Walters, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday evening, September 23, 2015 at his home.

He was born on September 2, 1933, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Paul and Lucille (Rex) Walters. He married Lavern Walters and she preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sister, Mardene Sue Gomez of Fremont; caretaker and niece, Teresa (Larry) Shrode of Tiffin; nephew, Paul Walters; close friend, Phyllis Butera of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob Walters and Dale Walters; and two sisters, Betty and Imgene.

Charles dedicated his life to trucking and served in the United States Air Force.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
