Charlotte Emile Hunt, 93, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, March 4, 2016 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on January 20, 1923, in Hersfeld, Germany, to George and Marie (Ortwein) Hildebrand. On October 2, 1948, she married Calvin Dean Hunt.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Dean Hunt of Tiffin; and nephew, Norbert Hildebrand of New York.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ewald Hildebrand.

Charlotte worked at Montgomery Ward, Tiffin Machine and retired in 1971 from Gem Mfg. She enjoyed nature, wildlife, bird watching, volunteering many hours sewing at Mercy Tiffin Hospital and traveling; especially to the Caribbean and New Hampshire. Charlotte was proud to become a United States citizen in 1952.

There will be a Memorial Service at 6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at St. Francis Home Chapel followed by a time of sharing in the multipurpose room until 8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, St. Francis Home or to Seneca County Park District.
