Charlotte "Lottie" Lofton, 52, of Tiffin, OH passed away September 11, 2011 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH.

She was born on October 16, 1958 to Wayne & Mary (Hoffman) Amlin. She married Kevin Lofton, Sr. on May 26, 1979 in St. Mary Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Kevin; son, Kevin (Heidi) Lofton of Tiffin, OH; daughter, Christy Lofton of Houston, TX; brothers, Doug (Diane) Amlin of Philadelphia, PA, Gary (Stephanie) Amlin of Tiffin, OH and Craig Amlin of Columbus, OH; Sisters, Roseann Amlin of Tiffin, OH and Jennifer (Brent) Hedrick of Bascom, OH; and grandson, Jared Lofton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two aunts, Charlotte Seifert and Mary Rose Brickner.

Lottie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked at Clyde Whirlpool for the past few years and factories around the area for years. She organized fundraisers for Big Brothers and Big Sisters for many years. Lottie enjoyed making jewelry, collecting Fenton glass, going to garage sales, auctions and flea markets and bowling. She enjoyed spending time boating at the lake and trips in the motor home with her father. She loved spending the last 32 years with her husband and their children and with her grandson, Jared.

A mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 16, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Roemmele officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419)447-2424. A Christian Wake service will begin at 1:30 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society or St. Mary Catholic Church.
