Charlotte F. "Snookie" Lucius, 76, of Burgoon, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 7, 2015 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on September 26, 1938, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Charles F. and Beulah M. (Boltz) Shiley. On February 25, 1958, she married Paul Lucius, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Paul of Burgoon; sons, Paul (Ann) Lucius, Jr. of Tiffin and Patrick Lucius of Bettsville; 3 daughters, Sally Myers of Tiffin, Billie Jo (Steve) Garcia of Dickinson, TX and Charlene Mack of Sycamore; brother, Herman F. (Nancy) Shiley of Clarksville, TN; sister, Linda (Brad Gibson) Dawson of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Lucius in 1985; 2 brothers, Charles R. Shiley and James R. "Ted" Shiley; and infant twin grandsons, Kevin and Ryan Mack.

Snookie was a member of the Tiffin Moose Lodge #846, enjoyed visiting family and wintering in Texas and vacationing in the Appalachians and the Smokey Mountain area. She also enjoyed lottery tickets, puzzles, fishing, watching The Young and Restless and knitting hats for everyone.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Chaplain Jane-Ann Clarke officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the funeral home.
