Charmayne S. "Char" Snyder, 75, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

She was born on July 15, 1944, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Victor A. and Joan (Mergenthaler) Hoover.

Survivors include her daughter, Aundrea Snyder of Fort Wayne, IN; grandson, Aidan Snyder; and close friends, Bonnie Fish and Tabb and Scott Gesse.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Allan L. Hoover and Thomas V. Hoover; and special friend, Don Schumacher.

Char graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1962 and in 1963 from Tiffin Hair Academy.  She worked at Char's Salon of Style on South Sandusky Street for several years and later for area salons.  Char was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, enjoyed playing bingo and bowling in leagues for many years.

There will be no services at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
