Chris Clouse, 60, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday afternoon, October 27, 2013, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 25, 1952, in Lima, Ohio, to Paul "Barney" and Rosemary (Kerner) Ruhe. On May 10, 1975, she married Clint Clouse and he survives.

Also surviving is her son, Drew (Heather) Clouse of Tiffin; 2 daughters, Summer (Craig) Aukerman of Carlsbad, CA and Emily (Joe) Van Culin of Franklin; 4 brothers, David (Jan) Ruhe of South Charleston, Allen Ruhe and Jeff (Bernice) Ruhe, both of Ottawa and Rick Ruhe of Leipsic; 2 sisters, Jane (Nick) Horstman of Ottoville and Nancy Shalter of Ottawa; and 3 grandchildren, Cayden, Bryce and Rozlyn.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Chris graduated in 1971 from Ottawa-Glandorf High School and from Davis Business College in 1973 and retired, after 26 years, from Honeywell in Fostoria in 2008. She enjoyed decorating, crafts, shopping, and was a great cook who opened her home to everyone, making everyone feel welcome. Chris loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and her two dogs, Trixie and Daisy.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Hopewell Church of God with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

There will be no visitation.
