Obituary

Christina "Chris" Coleman, 78, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, August 22, 2012 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

She was born on June 10, 1934, in Bootle, England to James and Ivy Mae (Edwards) Cummins. On October 3, 1953, she married Charles L. Coleman and he passed away on September 28, 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Charles "Steve" (Jane) Coleman of Tiffin and Ron (Penny) Coleman of Newport Richey, Florida; two daughters, Carol (Larry) Layton of Olympia, WA and Chrissy (Andy) Smith of Van Buren; one brother, James (June) Cummins of Bootle, England; 11 grandchildren, Dorothy (Eric Peinl) Degman, Timothy Layton, William Layton, Candi (Jamie) Ludwig, Eric (Beth) Coleman, Jacob Coleman, Liz Coleman, Ivy Coleman, Zachary Smith, Isaac Smith and Alexandria Smith; two great grandchildren, Cole and Kacie Ludwig; and many nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death are her parents; two brothers, Dennis and John Cummins; and two sisters, Marie Beeson and Margaret Fletcher.

Chris was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked at Copeland Industries in Fostoria and was also a nurse's aide. Chris was also a homemaker and seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and working on crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

A memorial service will be Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-4:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840 or a charity of the donor's choice.
