Christine L. Fourtner, 67, of Bloomville, passed away Saturday evening, October 23, 2021 at the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.

She was born on February 26, 1954, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Gaylord and Velma (Perrine) Firestone.  On October 6, 1973, she married Thomas Fourtner.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Fourtner of Bloomville; son, Eric (Tracy Ramirez) Fourtner of Bloomville; daughter, Tara (Jack) Shuemaker of Tiffin; brothers, Tony (Kim) Firestone of Tiffin, Steve (Bridgette) Firestone of GA and John (Rhonda) Firestone of Findlay; sisters, Linda (Carl) Hodge of New Riegel, Robin Surface of Missouri, Pam (Robby) Baker and Bridget Shaull, both of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Roxanne Askam and Diana Barrett.

Christine was a 1973 graduate of Columbian High School and received her LPN license in 1993 from Ehove Career Center.  She enjoyed taking care of her home and loved being a grandma and raising her grandchildren.

Her Funeral Service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Dave Shuemaker officiating.  Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the Service on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
