Christine graduated in 1981 from Calvert High School. After high school, she served in the United States Air Force in both Germany and Florida and was honorably discharged on April 21, 1991.
While stationed in Germany, she discovered a passion for Volksmarching or walking for fun. She also enjoyed many tours of European countries and attended several concerts to "rock out" with American bands including her favorite – Aerosmith.
Reminiscent of her parents, Chris could often be seen with her signature blue backpack containing bird books and binoculars so she could get a closer look at her feathered friends. Her Michigan niece and nephew have fond memories of "the claw", movies and popcorn at the theater, craft shows and summer festivals.
Chris was a devoted member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Portage, Michigan.
The family would like to express their appreciation to RNA and Kalamazoo RESA for their kindness towards Chris over the past several years.
