Christine M. (Stover) Powell, 39, daughter of Angie (Ricci) Stover and the late Leo Stover, died Friday, September 25, 2009, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, from complications of pulmonary hypertension and advanced multiple sclerosis.

Christine was born September 26, 1969, in Tiffin, and is survived by her mother, Angie, a son, Zackary M. Powell of Port Clinton and four siblings, Pat (Kevin) Collins of Tiffin, Bob (Betty) Stover of Tiffin, Mary (Chris) Ward of Sycamore, and Mike (Mary) Stover of Tiffin.

Christine graduated in 1987 from Mohawk High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She worked for several years as a compliance officer for Motor Carrier Compliance Co., in Oak Harbor, and previously for KMart in Fremont. Christine was recently a resident at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424. A Christian wake service will be 4:00 PM, at the funeral home.
