Christopher Murphy passed away in Orlando, FL on July 28th, 2024. Christopher leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, love and friendship behind. He will always be remembered as a man who never met a stranger and always knew how to make you laugh when you needed it the most.  He also will be remembered for his deep friendship to so many people from Tiffin, Ohio to Orlando, Florida and everywhere in between.

The passion that Christopher lived his life with was obvious from the moment you first spoke with him.  It was even more evident on Saturday afternoons in the fall when HIS Ohio State Buckeyes were playing.  He also loved his dogs over the years, collecting and building Star Wars Lego sets, doing puzzles and his work as a bartender for over 25 years of his fantastic life.

Chris enjoyed traveling when he had the time and driving his yellow Jeep.  He also loved to tinker and work on his Jeep and never met a challenge he wasn't afraid to try.  He was also the man who would have given the shirt off his back for someone in need.

Christopher leaves behind his mother, Sharon Gosche (Tom Wurm) of Tiffin, OH, his dad, Dennis Murphy of Tiffin, OH; his sister Shanon Murphy-Wickersham (Nathan) of Bloomington, IN, his sister Lori Elchert (Dave) of Tiffin, OH and his brother Bryan Gase (Sarah) of Memphis, TN; his nieces Alyssa Brimmer and Macy Wickersham  and his nephews Drew and Luke Ritzler.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Gosche and Willa Melick and his step father, Lester Gase.

Christopher's generous spirit can be honored and carried on by making donations to the Tiffin Columbian High School, boys and girls basketball programs.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on October 10, 2024 at the American Legion, Tiffin.
