Cindy K. Purnell, 73, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Parkview Care Center, Fremont.

She was born on May 17, 1951, in Wauwatosa, WI to Charles W. and Marjorie (Teasdale) O'Connell.  On April 23, 1988, she married Mark Purnell.

Survivors include her sister, Martha O'Connell of Fostoria; nephews, Charles Dell of Tiffin and Christopher Dell of Whitesburg, KY; and nieces Melissa Adams of Carey and Tara Drake, both of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

Cindy graduated from Fort Hunt High School and attended the University of Wisconsin.  She was a member and very involved at the First Church of the Nazarene.  In 1988, Cindy started driving bus for the School of Opportunity for many years until she retired.  She enjoyed doing crafts and loved her cats, Mike and Gaby.

There will not be any services.  Burial will be private in Fairmont Cemetery.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
