Clara L. Kramer, 89, of Tiffin, passed away, Sunday morning, August 7, 2011 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.


She was born July 22, 1922 in Alvada, OH to William and Lucy (Fraley) Kauffman. She married Robert C. Kramer on June 30, 1945.


Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Bob; sons, Ron (Melissa) Kramer of Tiffin; Larry Kramer of Findlay; Bob (Misty Mullholand) Kramer of Carey; brothers, Eugene (Phyllis) Kauffman of Tiffin; Donny (Gloria) Kauffman of FL; sister, Mary Stover of Tiffin; six grandchildren, John Kramer, Brandon Theis, Kristen Rayl, Laura Metz, Leslie Poignon, Leah Lewellen, 16 great grandchildren, one expected great grandchild, and sisters in law Margaret Mary Kramer of Tiffin, Esther Kauffman of Carey, and Alma Kauffman of Tiffin.


She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Carl, Paul, and Joseph Kauffman; sisters, Rosemary Clouse, Esther Kauffman, Ruth Durdel, Rita Hoover, and Helen Topel.


Clara was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and past member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a cook at Wyme's Restaurant for over 50 years and volunteered at St. Joseph Catholic School Cafeteria for many years. Clara will be remembered by all for her baked goods, flowers, gardening, and playing cards.


A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.


Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. A Wake service will begin at 8 pm.


Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Francis Home, or Community Hospice Care.
