Cleo "Tony" Barto, 82, of Findlay and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, October 11, 2022 at Elmwood at The Shawhan.

He was born on August 13, 1940, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Warren and Lula (Stiles) Barto.  On July 4, 1993, he married Pamela Sue Farrell and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Scott (Marie) Barto of Tiffin; daughters, Kathy Conley, Jackie Merchant and Beth Paradiso, all of Tiffin, Sherrie (Richard) Bryant of TN, Rebecca (Shawn) Umbrell of KY and Christina Rodgers of Tiffin; brother, Lloyd (Donna) Barto, Sr. of Tiffin; sister, Dolores Runion of Tiffin; 24 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Edith, Glenna, Thelma and Anna; granddaughter, Chelsy Barto; and great grandson, William Halbert.

Tony was a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and Owens Community College.  He was an Engineer for the Railroad.  Tony was an Associate member of F.V.W, Findlay and Flag City Classics Car Club.  He loved showing his 1966 Corvette at area car shows, working on cars, going to car shows with his buddies, woodworking and his favorite holiday was Halloween.

His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Pastor Stephanie Little officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Friday at the Funeral Home.
