Clifford W. Doran Jr., 83, of Tiffin, died Wednesday morning, August 12, 2009 at Elmwood Assisted Living at the Shawhan.

On February 20, 1926 in Bloom Township, he was born to Clifford W. and Grace L. (Snay) Doran Sr. He married Lynda L. Kentfield November 1966.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Shari Doran and Sandi Bryant of Tiffin; step daughter, Pam (Duane) Shaw of Tiffin; step son, Todd Geary of Sycamore; brothers, Richard (Doris) Doran of West Jefferson; Lloyd "Shorty" (June) Doran of Tiffin; sisters, Betty (Firm) Holt of Oregon, OH; Margie Detterman of Tiffin; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lynda, brother, Robert Doran and sister, Evelyn Benner.

Clifford served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 and during the Korean War in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1951-1957. He worked at the Lima Tank Plant, retiring in 1988.

A Graveside service and burial will be Friday, August 14, 2009 at Seneca Memory Garden at 1:30 PM with Rev. Lukas Hafeli officiating. Military Services will be conducted by the United Veteran's Council.

A private visitation was held for the family.
