Coy E. Ritchie, 75, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, May 30, 2024.
He was born on November 10, 1948, in Hazard, KY, to Jasper and Freda (Combs) Ritchie. On June 24, 1969, he married Carol Bonnell.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Ritchie of Tiffin; daughters, Elaine (Dan) Cook, Doreen (Michael) Wuescher and Lori (Tony) Miller all of Tiffin; brother, Jack Ritchie of Tiffin; sisters, Elaine Hurt of Tiffin and Bess (Paul) Tyree of Green Springs; and five grandchildren, Kaden, Nolan, Weston, Noah and Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby Ritchie, Magoo Ritchie and Jay Ritchie; and sister, Mint Pryor.
Coy worked at General Electric until their closing and then worked at Whirlpool in Clyde for over ten years. He was a member of Adams Twp. Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball, trips to the Amish Country, being at home, spending time with his grandchildren and watching their sporting events and loved his dogs.
His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 03, 2024 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with his brother-in-law, Rev. Paul Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 02, 2024 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to SouthernCare Hospice, the Humane Society of Seneca County or to Shriner's Children Hospital.
