Craig S. Amlin, 52, of Columbus and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Sunday morning, May 15, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

He was born on October 23, 1963, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Wayne S. and Mary E. (Huffmon) Amlin.

Survivors include his brothers, Doug (Diane) Amlin of Spring City, PA and Gary (Stephanie) Amlin of Tiffin; sisters, Roseann Amlin of Tiffin and Jennifer (Brent) Hedrick of Bascom; nieces, Christy Jacobs, Natalie Rhoades, Julia Amlin and Rachel Amlin; nephews, Kevin Lofton, II, Brandon Amlin, Garrett Hedrick, Dominic Hedrick, Jacob Amlin and Mark Amlin; a great niece; and two great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Charlotte "Lottie" Lofton.

Craig graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1982, from Ohio University in 1986 with a Bachelor's Degree and from Cleveland State University with a Master's Degree. Currently, he was the regional director of rehabilitation for Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting Services, Inc. Craig moved to Columbus in 2007, after living in Cleveland and Washington D.C. He enjoyed cooking and going out to eat at restaurants, was a practical joker, was close with his work family and very generous to his co-workers. Family was very important to Craig and he loved spoiling his nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Kishore Kottana officiating. Burial will be at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
