Cynthia L. Hawkinberry, 49, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 in Carey, OH.
She was born May 27, 1964 in Bremen, IN to Arthur D. and Faye (Kincaid) Stephens. She married Joseph Hawkinberry and they later divorced.
Survivors include a daughter, Jessica (Steven Jenkins, Jr.) Hawkinberry of Tiffin; brother, James Stephens; sister, Aileen (Lester) Dake both of Arab, AL; three grandchildren, Joseph Hawkinberry, Kelsey Carroll and Hayden Adams; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ernest Ray Stephens in 2006.
Cynthia graduated from Columbia High School in Columbia Station and attended the Christian Unity Church in Grafton. She moved to Tiffin five years ago from Wakeman, OH and worked in Melmore for Carn Fertilizer & Grain, Inc. Cynthia joined the Carey Conservation Club because she loved nature and being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and her favorite was sitting around a campfire, regardless of the weather. She loved her two dogs, Hunter and Dakota, who met her everyday as she walked in the door and she adored and loved her grandchildren and being a grandma.
A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.
Friends may visit and share stories on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
