IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel "Spud"
E. Miller
December 24, 1952 – January 30, 2017
Daniel "Spud" Miller
Spud passed away at his home with his family by his side. He was born on December 24th, 1952 to Doris (Steyer) and Phillip Miller. He was born in Tiffin, OH and graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1971.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Judy (Zoeller) who he married April 29, 1972 and their three children Robbie Miller, of McCutchenville; Jason (Jennifer) Miller of Sycamore, and Hollie (Chad) Sendelbach of Findlay, 7 grandchildren; Hannah, Olivia, Emily, and Gracie Miller; Peyton, Hudson, and Paxon Sendelbach, sister Judy (Ronnie) Reinhart of Tiffin, brothers Ron of Mount Vernon and Jeff "Chipper" (Cathy) of Tiffin; Step brothers, Tom (Kathleen) Courtney of Tiffin and Harold (Nancy) Courtney of New Riegel.
He was preceded in death by his brother John, father Phil, mother Doris, and grand-daughter Addyson.
Spud worked 20 years as a metal fabricator for Ohio Metal and Seneca Sheet Metal. He spent the last 15 years of employment working as a waste management driver for a couple local waste management companies. A farmer's son Spud spent over 40 years of his life farming alongside his father and brother Jeff.
Spud enjoyed the simple things in life. He was known for being particular about the things he owned and always having a well groomed yard, and cleanest building. He enjoyed working in his garden and spending time outside.
He had three true loves in life: He loved his family especially his wife and high school sweetheart Judy. Never moving more than 4 miles from home, family was very important to him. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, trapping, fishing and just being in the woods. If he couldn't hunt, trap or fish then he could be found in the woods cutting wood. Spud could always find a reason to be in the woods or outside. His last love was beer. Spud loved his beer! He loved the time spent with family and friends drinking beer. He enjoyed the Friday nights in his building drinking beer with his friends and neighbors. No one could come visit Spud without being offered a beer.
