Daniel F. Falin, 67, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, September 01, 2025 at home.

He was born on March 08, 1958, in Charleston, WV to Mary Lee Falin.  He was raised by his uncle, Charlie Falin.  On January 27, 1987, he married Mary Tate.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Falin of Tiffin; daughters, Jessica Falin of Tampa, FL and Amanda (Steven) Harmon of Lima; sister, Betty (Arvele) Green of Lake Alfred, FL; and numerous friends and family near and far that will always remember papa and uncle Danny

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Daniel was a 1976 graduate of East Bank Senior High School and Career Tech School in West Virginia. After high school, he served in the United States Army Reserves until his retirement in 1998.  In 2003, Daniel and Mary moved back to Tiffin and he worked as a boiler operator at National Machinery.

Daniel was a beloved husband, father, and the best of friend.  The greatest joke teller anyone has ever met.  He was an avid fisherman and even dreamt of fishing in the last of his days.  He also enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling and camping in West Virginia.

Whether family, friend, or stranger, he always left an imprint in your life.  To say he will be missed, is an understatement.  P.S. Cancer SUCKS!

There will be a Celebration of Life from 1-5:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 in the Rec Room at National Machinery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fish Food Pantry or to the Salvation Army.
