Darlene A. Yates, 70, of Republic, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Bellevue Care Center.

She was born on January 6, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Darl L. and Margaret "June" (Gittinger) Allbaugh.

She is survived by her sons, John Yates and Corey Yates, both of Republic; sister, Connie Murphy of Tiffin; boyfriend of 25 years, Randy Bryant of Republic; and granddaughter, Sydney Allbaugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mike Allbaugh; brother, Steve Allbaugh; and sister, Tammy Dewald.

Darlene graduated in 1968 from Tiffin Columbian.  She was a Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and an OSU Buckeye's fan and she enjoyed raising her children, attending John's basketball games, visiting her granddaughter in Alabama, watching Little League Baseball games, and going to tractor pulls.  Darlene loved her family.

Her funeral service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the funeral home.
