David Morris Hoffert, 88, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at The Willows At Tiffin.

He was born on January 25, 1937, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Morris and Miriam (Konkle) Hoffert. On August 20, 1960, he married Faith J. Breighner.

Survivors include his wife, Faith J. Hoffert of Tiffin; son, Paul (Holly) Hoffert of Fostoria; daughter, Melinda (Ted) Wolowicz of Springfield, TN; brother, Phillip (Robin) Hoffert; sister, Anna Jean (Roger) Wadsworth of Medina; grandchildren, Nicole (Brittany) Wheeler-Wolowicz of Nashville, TN, and Corinne (Justin Barr) Wolowicz of White House, TN; and special cousin, Sara Kessler.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

David was a 1955 graduate of Columbian High School. He served in the United States Army from 1960 - 1962. He worked at American Standard as a caster where he also served as secretary of IBOP Local #7 for many years. David was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, was a Cincinnati Reds fan, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, classic cars, and was very proud of and loved his granddaughters.

There will not be any services. Burial will be private in Seneca Memory Gardens.
